Date set for Aug. 1!!

Hello people!

After over 4 years, we have decided to tie the knot on August 1 in the beautiful Sandia foothills in Albuquerque!!

We have spoken to most of you from NM, the US more generally, the UK, and elsewhere else from across the oceans, and have been blown away by everyone's responses and efforts to get here for the wedding, thank you!

We plan to have a ceremony/reception at the Elena Gallegos picnic area of the Sandia foothills during the afternoon of August 1. It will be a fairly informal affair with a bbq, booze, and the infamous ABQ summer sun. :)

Details

Linda Hertz will marry us on August 1st at around 3 O'Clock at the Double Shelter area of the Elena Gallegos Picnic area in Albuquerque's Sandia Mountains (map below). We plan on having the ceremony and the reception in the shadow of the beautiful Sandias and hope you can join us into the evening. We want to keep things low key and comfortable so dress down for the sunshine and enjoy the occasion! Instead of bringing a wedding present, we would love it if you just brought yourselves, a little something to drink, something pot luck style for a BBQ, and a smile!

The Elena Gallegos Picnic area is easiest to get to by going North from the University area on I25, then taking Paseo Del Norte East all the way to Tramway. Go south on Tramway for around a half mile, then take Simms Park Road towards the mountains and park in one of the cities spots for hikers/walkers. The Double Shelter space will be signposted but is visible from almost anywhere; it is in the center of the one way loop.
